The memorial complex of Imam Al-Bukhari is a complex of buildings of memorial, religious and spiritual and educational purpose of the late 20th century in the village of Hartang, Payaryk district, Samarkand region of Uzbekistan. It was built on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov in 1997-1998 on the ancient mazar of the famous Islamic religious figure Imam Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari to commemorate the 1225th anniversary of his birth according to the lunar calendar. The tomb of Imam al-Bukhari located on the territory of the complex is one of the most revered shrines of Islam in Central Asia.
The memorial complex of Imam al-Bukhari covers an area of about 10 hectares and includes an entrance building, a mosque with Khanaka, an administrative building, the mausoleum of Imam al-Bukhari, as well as the premises of the Dorus Hadis educational center located at some distance. The main architectural elements are grouped around a rectangular, almost square, courtyard. The entrance to the territory of the complex is carried out through a one-story building made of baked bricks, which includes three portal-domed volumes with through arched passages built between sections of vaulted rooms overlooking the courtyard
