Bukhara regional branch of the Uzbek State Philharmonic. NDB SHOW Bukhara miniaturist Davron Toshev has been drawing since the age of five. When he was fourteen, his uncle, the sculptor Khamro Zoirov, took him as an apprentice to his workshop. Davron Toshev's apprenticeship took place in this workshop for four years. But he met his main teacher in Tashkent, in a painting studio. The artist Khurshid Nazirov discovered in 1990 in Davron Toshev the gift of a miniaturist.
And the miniature became the life of the lyric artist Davron Toshev. He draws his works exclusively on rare Samarkand hand-made paper and tries to use only natural paints. Miniature is a very delicate and painstaking work. Toshev draws with a special magnifying glass, and each work takes months, years. Toshev painted one of his miniatures for seven whole years. His miniatures are a state of special inspiration from the lyrics of the literature of the East, from which he draws plots for his work.
Bukhara silk paper. In the center of the miniature there is also the Bukhara Silk Paper enterprise with a large cozy garden, where master classes of hand-made silk paper production are often held. Production of silk paper according to ancient Bukhara methods, 100% handmade. All miniature works of art are made from Bukhara silk paper, where natural tempera and watercolors are used, natural pigments, silver and gold are used to decorate miniature boxes.
