Trading domes of Bukhara - medieval architectural monuments of Bukhara; surviving three of the five largest trading structures of the 16th century, built by representatives of the Uzbek Sheibanid dynasty in Bukhara.
Not a single city in Central Asia and in the countries of the East has this kind of monumental architectural structures.
Trading domes were located at the intersections of busy streets along the main trade highway of the Bukhara Shahristan, which ran from Lyabi-Hauz Square to Registan Square (Citadel Ark). The city has three of the largest trading buildings: Toki Sarrofon, Toki Telpakfurushon, Toki Zargaron - connected by a street. They were trading centers. Here, a continuous line housed shopping arcades and caravanserais, leaving no room for residential buildings. In addition to these three passages that have survived to this day, there were two more passages in Bukhara, also domed: Toki Tirgaron and Toki Allofi. The road passed through these two passages in only one direction - there was no intersection here.
